Costs in the bus industry continuye to increase, most notably vehicle parts, tyres, insurance and other items. With this in mind, our Youth 11-19 and Adult Saver ticket prices will increase from September 2023. While this will impact some of our customers at a difficult time, it is neccessary to do so in order to keep bus services financially viable.
The good news is that we will continue to participate in the Government-funded £2 maximum sing fare cap, and the other single and return fares will not be increasing at the same time.
Furthermore, the new SwalePlus DayRider and Megarider tickets provide great value, and are accepted on Chalkwell and Stagecoach services within Swale, and also the Stagecoach X3 to Maidstone. This provides and flexible and convenient way to travel around the area without the need for multiple ticket purchases.
