As a local company we have been providing coach hire to schools, colleges and other educational establishments since 1931. With coaches based in Kent, Medway and London our hire service covers most of the South East. We can provide a vehicle for any occasion to any destination within the UK and Europe.

We are a family run business with over 80 years’ combined experience in coach tours and deal with all UK and most continental tourist destinations. If you’re offering a trip as a paid venture, we can even assist in the production of posters and leaflets.
UK and Continental
We have connections with hotel groups and a well-established relationship with cross-Channel operators such as P&O. Our dedicated coaching team has extensive knowledge of destinations and routes throughout the UK and Europe.

As holders of the Confederation of Passenger Transport’s CoachMarque quality standard, you can expect great value and service. We are members of the Group Travel Organisers Association and Confederation of Passenger Transport UK.
Reliable Vehicles
All coaches are equipped with seatbelts, and our safety systems are exemplary. Coaches with toilets, wifi and wheelchair accessibility are available on request. We have our own onsite cleaning staff and all of our coaches have 24 hour emergency vehicle breakdown cover.

If you have a group of people heading to the UK then Chalkwell are in a great position to help. We are within easy reach of the major airports of Gatwick, Heathrow, London City and Southend, as well as the Eurostar and the port of Dover.
Our services include private charter coaches for several days at a time, which can involve touring all over the UK. Alternatively we can provide transfers to and from your destination.
Our professional group tour planners are on hand can prepare a tailor made experience that means you can enjoy your time in the UK, taking in some of the great sights and sample our rich history. We can take all of the hassle out of the planning, and liaise with hotels and destinations on your behalf.

Our fleet includes 16, 33, 49, 53, 70 and 49 seat executive coaches, with wheelchair access on some smaller vehicles.

- For long distance trips we have 49 seat executive coaches with
toilets, drinks machines and DVD players.
For your peace of mind
All of our drivers have to:
- Complete a regular driver training and assessment programme
- Wear a Company uniform, making them readily recognisable and are issued with a company handbook enabling them to carry out their duties professionally.
- Have their licences regularly checked with DVLA at Swansea
- Comply with our rigorous drugs and alcohol policy.

At the Chalkwell coach depot on the prestigious Eurolink Industrial Park in Sittingbourne, we have modern, well-equipped workshop facilities for the maintenance and servicing of our fleet staffed by fully qualified engineers. It is also the centre for our operations team who are committed to bringing you the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
