Island Buses is a fresh new network for Sheppey, with clear and easily availabile information, designed with the customer in mind. We accept all concessionary bus passes, as well as the Kent Travel Saver and 16+ passes for access to schools. Our buses operate using enhanced Covid-Secure proceedures, for the safety of our staff and customers.

Buses will also take contactless payments onboard as well as cash. We ask that customers reduce the use of cash where possible in order to minimise the possibility of Covid transmission.

There are some key changes in order to assist with reliability and improving the customer experience. The routes and changes are as follows:

360 Sheerness to Minster, Eastchurch, Warden Bay and Leysdown

  • Only serves Eastchurch Prisons on Sundays, with the Monday to Saturday service providing journeys that are more direct
  • Will provide transport for with KCC passes attending Oasis Academy.

361 Sheerness to Sheerness East, Morrisons, Rushenden and Queenborough

  • Will operate via Halfway (not Brielle Way), doubling the number of buses per hour between Sheerness and Halfway
  • Operates a one-way loop via Morrisons Rushenden and Queenborough
  • Takes children with KCC passes attending Oasis Academy

362 New Service between Sheerness, West Minster, Queens Way and St George’s Avenue.

  • In order to improve reliability and reduce journey times the 362 will not be going down Edenbridge Drive. Customers can use the bus stops in Hawthorn Avenue.

367 Sheerness to Eastchurch and Warden Point

  • Will serve Eastchurch Prisons Monday to Saturday on certain key journeys.
  • Will provide transport for with KCC passes attending Oasis Academy.
  • Pupils attending Oasis Acadmey Sheerness campus to use the stops at the junction of Coronation Road and the High Street, instead of the school grounds.
