Following a tender by Kent County Council, we are pleased to be the new operators of the HS7 and HS8 bus routes to Homewood School, Tenterden. These will replace routes currently operated by AJ and NM Carr, who will provide the existing services up to and including the 11th Sptember. The Chalkwell HS7 and HS8 start on 12th September, and will provide a vital link from the Villages of Egerton, Pluckley Smarden and Charing Heath to Homewood School in Tenterden.
Chalkwell will accept the KCC Travel Saver and 16+ Travel Saver passes (formerly know as the Young Person’s Travel Pass and 16+ passes) on the HS7 and HS8.
Managing Director Roland Eglinton said “We already provide other services in the Ashford area and into Homewood School, so these latest additions will be a good fit, and we will endeavour to provide safe, reliable transport”.
