Chartwell & Emmetts Garden
Tuesday 4th April 2017
Family home and garden of Sir Winston Churchill, Chartwell was the much loved Churchill family home and the place from which Sir Winston Churchill drew inspiration from 1924 until the end of his life. The rooms remain much as they were when he lived there, with pictures, books and personal mementoes evoking the career and wide-ranging interests of a great statesman, writer, painter and family man. Enjoy some free time in the café or shop before we head over to Emmetts Garden in the afternoon. Emmetts Garden is a hillside garden at Ide Hill with views over the Weald of Kent. Enjoy the ambience of the garden with its unique collection of plants and trees, the garden has something for everyone.
